Celestial Staves drop from Mantids? - Guild Wars Forums

Do Mantids outside Nahpui Quarter drop celestial staves? I know they come out of the chests but I've never seen one drop.

Mantid Monitor and Mantid Drones? Yes, randomly, but nothing really specific or unique ('green') worth mentioning, if that's what you're asking.

u should hunt Vermins at nahpui exploable, or Kappas around Canthan "slum" for cele drops rly, those dropping em most, also In tahhnakai temples Temple guardians drop em

I have had a Celestial shield drop once, but that was many moons ago. Pleikki is right though - the Vermins and the kappa around the city drop celestial weapons more often then the mantids.

Vermin are pretty easy to farm and Iv gotten several celestial weapons from them in the past.

You could run people trough naphui quarter and open chests on the way, its a pretty easy run and even opening chest you will have plenty of time to get masters.

I get a really good drop rate from the mantids, i rate its worth it... its also fun.

I don't remember getting Celestial Staves or Scepters from Vermins, just Shields, Swords, Axes and Hammers (I don't say they can't because I haven't farmed them heavily enough, just can't remember getting even one). Mantids and Temple Guardians however certainly do drop Cele Staves/Scepters as I got multiples.
